Our son has attended several of the SB Goalkeeping days and has enjoyed every one of them. Not only is it fantastic value for money, it gets him outdoors and in the fresh air, getting excercise. What is especially great for us is that our son plays for a football team where there is no specific goalkeeper training, so to go training and learn specific skills to help with his chosen position makes a difference. The coaches are friendly, professional and approachable. Our son always comes away happy (and tired). Making friends and meeting new people is an added bonus!
Since my son has joined SB Goalkeeping I have seen a huge improvement in his confidence both on and off the football pitch. He really enjoyed it and looks forward to going training. The trainers are fantastic, and are really positive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend SB Goalkeeping. When I ask my son what he thinking of his training he always says it’s amazing and fun.
Matt has been working with some of our pupils who were struggling with behaviour, but since they started having one training session a week in school we have seen a huge improvement in their behaviour across all lessons. They have become more focused and more eager to learn.
With Matt coming into school it has given us the opportunity to offer an extra intervention to help some of our students get the best out of their education by allowing them to access specialised training during school hours. This has been a fantastic experience for our school and pupils and we would definitely encourage other schools to give Matt @ SB Goalkeeping a call and arrange for him to work with some of your students that might need extra intervention as this has definitely worked for us as a school

We can’t recommend SB Goalkeeping highly enough. Our son is 8 and has been attending both the weekly sessions and the holiday camps for the past 2 years. The progress he has made is unbelievable, not just in his ability but in his confidence too. Matt is his absolute hero and idol! All the sessions are run with the utmost professionalism, they are full of content and the children are kept focussed throughout. Our son looks forward to his sessions each week and would not hesitate to recommend them to any fellow aspiring goalkeepers.
My daughter has recently started training with SB, after being a little apprehensive to start, with it being mostly boys, she had such a warm friendly welcome & loved it straight away. She has gained so much confidence in herself over the time she has been going & has picked up lots of extra skills that has been noticed by her team mates & football coaches. Every week she continues to grow in confidence which is massively helped by Matts patience & input with all the kids.
SB Goalkeeping helped to develop our son’s skills and gave him the confidence to enter Academy level football. He has been playing at this level now for over two years and we still have regular lessons with Matt as the quality of teaching is second to none.
